Create an Unlisted YouTube Video

Private videos and playlists can only be seen by you and the people you choose. Your private videos won’t appear in the Videos tab of your channel homepage. They also won't show up in YouTube's search results. YouTube systems and human reviewers may review private videos for ad suitability, copyright, and other abuse prevention mechanisms.

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.

  2. From the left menu, select Content.

  3. Hover over the video you'd like to update. To see your live uploads, select the Live tab.

  4. Click the down arrow under "Visibility" and choose Unlisted. You cannot choose Private because Youtube requires you to input a user's email for them to access

  5. Save.

Go to MintGate

  1. In the right-hand corner, click on the Create button.

  2. Choose the option "Generate a Gated Link"

  3. You will need to log into Twitter in order to use the platform. If you have not logged into Twitter on our platform, you will be prompted to log in. Click on the "Connect Twitter" and log in.

  4. Once you are logged into Twitter, you will be redirected to the Create link page.

  5. You need to provide the following information: Add a link to the content that you wanna token gate. Link to the Youtube link Title (short description) Title of the link. This will only appear on your MintGate user profile on the list of gated links. Select Token Type Type of token. Upon selecting a token type, you will be prompted with different information. If you are gating via an ERC-20, ERC-751, or ERC-1155, you will also be asked to input the following information: - Network (Ethereum, Ethereum testnets (Kovan, Ropsten, Rinkeby, Goerli), xDai, Fuse, Polygon) - Contract address - Minimum amount of tokens/NFTs that you want the user to hold/own specific to that contract address (and token ID if applicable) - Token ID (optional)

  6. Once you have filled out all of the info, click on "Create Unlockable Link"
