How to Set up Token Access

Generate a token gated link that requires a user to own or hold a token to access

Tutorial

  1. In the right-hand corner, click on the Create button.

  2. Choose the option "Generate a Gated Link"

  3. You will need to log into Twitter in order to use the platform. If you have not logged into Twitter on our platform, you will be prompted to log in. Click on the "Connect Twitter" and log in.

  4. Once you are logged into Twitter, you will be redirected to the Create link page.

  5. You need to provide the following information: Add a link to the content that you wanna token gate. Link to web content hosted anywhere that you want to set up token gated access. Title (short description) Title of the link. This will only appear on your MintGate user profile on the list of gated links. Select Token Type Type of token. Upon selecting a token type, you will be prompted with different information. If you are gating via an ERC-20, ERC-751, or ERC-1155, you will also be asked to input the following information: - Network (Ethereum, Ethereum testnets (Kovan, Ropsten, Rinkeby, Goerli), xDai, Fuse, Polygon) - Contract address - Minimum amount of tokens/NFTs that you want the user to hold/own specific to that contract address (and token ID if applicable) - Token ID (optional)

  6. Once you have filled out all of the info, click on "Create Unlockable Link"
